The Central Bank of Nigeria Calabar (CBN) experienced a gas explosion this morning. The explosion went off from a construction site in the premises of the state CBN. The total number of casualty is yet to be ascertained. Several people were injured while others suffered some degree of burns.
Ambulances from University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH) and General hospital were used to evacuate the victims
