22 persons feared dead and 17 injured in attacked by two suicide bombers in a mosque at Umarari, outskirts of Maiduguri today. This was according to the state emergency management agency.
An escapee Umar Usman who was late for the morning
prayers said, “We were just a few meters away from the mosque when a
loud bang erupted and all we could see was dark smoke and bodies
littered around.”
It was reported that, one of the female suicide bomber, blew herself up in the mosque, while the other detonated hers outside
