MR ABUJA PRINCE EHIRIM WINS MR IDEAL 2016

The 2016 edition of Mr Ideal Nigeria pageant held on Sunday March 27th at Bespoke Center in Lekki with over a 1000 people in attendance. This year's edition was won by Prince Ehirim who represented Abuja has joined the league of Mr Ideal Nigerians.

Other awards that were given at the event includes: Best Body which was awarded to Mr Ideal Taraba, Next rated went to Mr Ideal Kebbi, Mr Ideal Continental (people’s choice) to Mr Ideal Benue, Mr Beach Body to Mr Ideal Nasarawa, Top Model awarded to Mr Ideal Plateau, Mr Ideal Ambassador 2016 awarded to Mr Ideal Ogun, Mr Ideal Southern State awarded to Mr Ideal Abia, and some others.
Among the finalist were Mr Ideal Bayelsa, Mr Ideal Ekiti, Mr Ideal Anambra, Mr Ideal Lagos, Mr Ideal Abuja and Mr Ideal Taraba who will all represent Nigeria at various international pageants
Mr Ideal Lagos was 6th place, followed by Mr Ideal Taraba who walked away with Mr Ideal Globe, and 4th was Mr Ideal Ekiti who is now the Mr Ideal Tourism, and 3rd went to Mr Ideal Anambra.
First runner up went to Mr Ideal Bayelsa who would represent at Mr Earth, while the winner much to the excitement of guest went to Mr Ideal Abuja, Prince Ehirim.
It was a fun-filled night, even had the presence of Nollywood actor and one-time Mr Nigeria, Byran Okwara at the event.

WORLD RENOWNED ARCHITECT: DAME ZAHA HADID IS DEAD

World renowned British-Iraqi Architect, Dame Zaha is dead. She is the first woman recipient of the Pritzker Architecture prize in 2004. She also bagged the Stirling Prize in 2010 and 2011.
She was most recently professor at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna in Austria.

She designed the London Olympic Aquatic Centre among other works of hers. One of the very best.
She died of heart attack at the age of 65 years old.

AMBODE CANCELS RESTRICTION OF MOVEMENT FOR MONTHLY ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION EXCERCISE

The Lagos State Government have lifted the restriction of movement on environmental sanitation day from 7:00am TO 10:00am. The restriction of movement was earlier imposed to enable people clean their surroundings.
The Commissioner of Lagos State for Information, Mr. Aderemi Ibirogba made the announcement on Friday in Ikeja while speaking with newsmen.

He Said:“This suspension of restriction of movement is for our children writing the Common Entrance Examination who would need to move around. The restriction time from their homes to examination their centres. We, however, appeal to residents to still observe the period and use it to clean their environment for their well being and that of the state.’’
Mr. Ibirogba, Emphasizes that movement on sanitation day doesn't mean total cancellation of the exercise but, tells Citizens to clean their environment between the hours of 7:00am-10:00am

There names are: Suru Hunpevi, 30; Messel Hungo, 25; Mark Huntoji, 22; Emmanuel Somoten, 18; Joseph Gbehan, 21 and Gbenonu Jonas, 29, were rounded up on Sunday on the sea in Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria while they were about to cross the border to their country.
The following were recovered : a pumping machine and the two speedboats they used for the operation, 53 drums of about 13,250 litres of diesel were recovered from them.

A LAW SUIT OF 800MILLION AGAINST PASTOR PAUL ADEFARASIN AND HIS CHURCH

Gerald Chukwueke and four others through their counsel, Moyo Onigbanjo (SAN) slammed a suit of 800million against Pator Paul Adefarasin and his church for encroaching into their own land in lekki.
At the last sitting of the court, Justice Akinlade had granted an interim injunction restraining the defendants, including the incorporated trustees of the Rock Foundation, the registrar of titles, Lagos State Land Registry and the attorney general of Lagos State from demolishing or removing any structure from the land located at Ikate, Lekki, Lagos.

The case had been adjourned to 7th of April, 2016

PROPRIETOR GETS 10YEARS JAIL SENTENCE FOR RAPPING A 10 YEARS OLD PUPIL

Mr. Babatunde Ibitoye, owner and proprietor of God’s Grace Nursery and Primary School, Fayemi Market, Agric Olope Area, Ajilosun in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State, was today sentenced to 10 years imprisonment by an Ado Ekiti High Court, for raping a 10-year old girl, who was his pupil as at the time the offence was committed, on June 10, 2013.

The State Ministry of Justice had, through a suit number HAD/F11/2013, preferred a one-count charge of rape against Ibitoye. In her brief judgement, Justice Toyin Abodunde agreed with the evidence of the plaintiff in the case, saying she had been able to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the defendant had sexually abused her.
Ibitoye was caught on June 10, 2013, in a bush where he sexually abused the victim under the guise that he was taking her home after school hours. He was said to have carried about four pupils in his bus and driven towards a bushy area to excrete, but only to enter the bush with the victim.
Before entering the bush, Ibitoye had sent other pupils on different errands. Sensing danger, some auto mechanics operating within the vicinity tip-toed towards the bush where they caught Ibitoye having sex with the girl. Some of the teachers gave evidence that the girl bled profusely few days before the day Ibitoye was caught.
