The Lagos State Government have lifted the restriction of movement on environmental sanitation day from 7:00am TO 10:00am. The restriction of movement was earlier imposed to enable people clean their surroundings.
The Commissioner of Lagos State for Information, Mr. Aderemi Ibirogba made the announcement on Friday in Ikeja while speaking with newsmen.
He Said:“This suspension of restriction of movement is for our children writing the Common Entrance Examination who would need to move around. The restriction time from their homes to examination their centres. We, however, appeal to residents to still observe the period and use it to clean their environment for their well being and that of the state.’’
Mr. Ibirogba, Emphasizes that movement on sanitation day doesn't mean total cancellation of the exercise but, tells Citizens to clean their environment between the hours of 7:00am-10:00am
