Prince Chimaeze Oforduru is the son and heir apparent of the traditional
ruler of Ikwuano Autonomous community in Isi Ala Mbano, Imo state, Nigeria.
He was brutally murdered in cold blood on Saturday, at his resident in Owerri. He was alleged to have paid a ransom of N5M few weeks ago for the release of his 5-year old daughter.
According to one of his uncles, Jerry, the assassins trailed Chimaeze to his house around 9:00 pm and fired recklessly at his body. It was learnt that the assassins waited and ensured that Chimaeze was dead before the left the premises.
He was only recently elected as the president of the National Association of Nigeria Traders, NANTS, Imo state chapter.
