World renowned British-Iraqi Architect, Dame Zaha is dead. She is the first woman recipient of the Pritzker Architecture prize in 2004. She also bagged the Stirling Prize in 2010 and 2011.
She was most recently professor at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna in Austria.
She designed the London Olympic Aquatic Centre among other works of hers. One of the very best.
She died of heart attack at the age of 65 years old.
